Hi, I’m Carrie Ann!

Carrie Ann is the heart behind Carrie Ann’s Wellness — a space created for deep restoration, intentional healing, and whole-body balance. Her journey began in 2005, when a life-altering car accident reshaped her understanding of the body, recovery, and the profound connection between physical and emotional well-being. What started as her own healing process soon became her life’s calling: to help others feel safe, supported, and truly at ease in their bodies.

With a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Carrie blends evidence-informed therapeutic techniques with time-honored holistic practices. Her work is both intuitive and highly intentional, incorporating modalities such as acupressure, Gua Sha, cupping, and personalized lifestyle guidance. Each session is carefully tailored to address chronic pain, stress, injury recovery, nervous system regulation, and emotional tension held within the body.

Carrie’s background includes over 20 years as a competitive bodybuilder and experience in women’s ice hockey, providing her with a deep, firsthand understanding of athletic demand, physical strain, and the importance of proper recovery. This unique insight allows her to work skillfully with athletes, active individuals, and those seeking to restore balance, mobility, and strength.

She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and holds an Associate’s Degree in Science from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. Carrie is currently advancing her studies toward a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and is certified in both Gua Sha and cupping therapy.

When she is not caring for her clients, Carrie enjoys quiet moments at home with her four Persian cats — Mordecai, Xerxes, Lily, and Kratos — and time spent with her boyfriend, Steve. She believes healing is more than something you schedule; it is a relationship with yourself, nurtured through care, consistency, and quiet moments of presence.

This is where you exhale. Welcome.
